Interim Solution for the GREEN kitchen

Well, as you can see the kitchen was small and GREEN - a very particular shade of green. But at least everything (except the gigantic fridge) was new and clean.  So we have made some interim changes until we do a big renovation somewhere down the track.

  1. what was your process in painting your cabinets white? did you have to sand / prime / paint / seal / all of the above? i have the same wood cabinets and want to update them to white as well... any info would be great!

  2. I took the doors off. Gave the a light sand. I then primed them and gave them 2 coats of paints with Benjamin Moore Simply White in semi-gloss. I used latex paint. I have heard that using an oil based paint might do a more durable job, but I was pleased with the way they turned out without the smell and clean up hassle of oil based paint. I used a roller.
    Hope that helps!
